The Library is offering trial access to U.S. Intelligence on Asia, 1945–1991, a primary source collection of declassified documents relating to U.S. intelligence activities in the Far East during the Cold War. The collection includes materials on the operations, assessments, and limitations of U.S. intelligence agencies, and provides documentary evidence relevant to the study of U.S.–Asia relations across the period from 1945 to 1991.

The database covers records from the U.S. intelligence community concerning the Far East during the Cold War, with particular attention to the People’s Republic of China, North Korea, and North Vietnam, as well as materials on other countries and territories in the region.
