【Long Overdue Policy】

To ensure that all readers can borrow what they need, we’re introducing a new overdue policy effective 1 Jul 2025.

  • 21 Days Overdue: Your account will be blocked until the item is returned.
  • 35 Days Overdue: The item will be considered lost, incurring a $100 processing fee plus the replacement cost.

【Five Things to Know Before Summer Break】

1. Return all borrowed library materials before the break if you plan to travel.

2. Settle all your fines and fees with the library before the break, especially if you are going to graduate this year.

3. A new long-overdue policy will be implemented in July:

  • On the 21st day after the due date, your library account will be blocked.
  • On the 35th day after the due date, if the borrowed item remains unreturned, the item will be assumed lost by the borrower.  A non-refundable processing fee of $100 will be charged to your library account.  You will also be billed a replacement fee for the lost item.

4. The Library will have summer opening hours from 15 May to 16 August 2025. Click here for details.

5. Check “My Circulation Record” to ensure all loan records are up-to-date.

【Library Summer Opening Hours 圖書館暑假開放時間】

From 15 May 2025 (Thu) to 16 Aug 2025 (Sat), the library opening hours will be adjusted as follows.

Monday to Friday: 

9:00 am – 6:00 pm 

Saturday:

  • 17 May 2025 to 5 Jul 2025: 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • 12 Jul 2025 to 16 Aug 2025: Library Closed

 5月15日至8月16日期間，圖書館開放時間將調整如下:   

星期一至星期五 : 

9:00 am – 6:00 pm 

星期六 : 

  • 5月17日至7月5日 : 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • 7月12日至8月16日 : 閉館
