【Workshop Highlights】Navigating Intellectual Property in the Digital Age 

Mr. Justin Ho, a representative from the Intellectual Property Department (IPD), delivered a workshop on Copyright and Artificial Intelligence (AI) yesterday, introducing the concept of Intellectual Property and the latest developments in Hong Kong’s copyright regime.The talk covered three main topics:

  • Copyright protection of AI-generated works;
  • Copyright infringement liability for AI-generated works; and
  • Using copyrighted works to train AI systems.

【Library Tour & Lexis+ Training Workshop】Law & Business Students Visit

This Monday, Dr. John Chan and his students visited the 4/F Law Library. 

In addition to the tour, they participated in a training workshop conducted by the Customer Success Specialist from LexisNexis Legal & Professional, where they learned how to find relevant law cases for legal research and about the new AI features of the “Lexis+ Hong Kong” database.

LexisNexis Legal & Professional 也為同學舉辦了工作坊,示範如何查找法律案例進行法律研究,以及 Lexis+ Hong Kong 資料庫的新 AI 功能。
