圖書館提供新的資料庫：清華大學藏戰國竹簡電子書平台，供所有 HKSYU 教職員和學生使用。
2008年7月，一批流散境外的戰國竹簡經校友捐贈，入藏清華大學。 2009年3月起，由李學勤先生、黃德寬先生先後主持，清華大學出土文獻研究與保護中心對之展開初步釋讀，經綴合編排後初估，清華簡共計2388枚；竹簡時代屬於戰國中晚期，抄寫時間確定為公元前305年前後。這批竹簡，文字大多書寫精整，其中至少有63篇文獻典籍。
使用須知：已開放所有冊數第1-12冊，閱讀全文前先需要用手機號碼進行驗證登入，或使用提供的賬號、密碼及驗證後登錄。

圖書館提供新的資料庫：中華文史學術論著庫 : 第一期，供所有 HKSYU 教職員和學生使用。
《中華文史學術論著庫》是中國學術資源全文資料庫。以高質量的學術成果為資源主體，涵蓋與中國傳統文化相關的文學、歷史、哲學等專業學科。現已推出核心學術期刊5種471期，學術著作396種，學術著作主要為在學術史上占據重要地位的名家名著，總計約2.8億字。例如：《文史》、《歷史語言研究所集刊》、《禹貢》、《三松堂全集》、《唐長孺文集》、《王力文集》、《張岱年文集》等。

使用須知：現時資料庫會包含第一至第三期所有資料，圖書館現訂購了第一期，讀者需於主頁先點選 “學術期刊” 或 “學術著作”，然後請點選 “第一期”，所出現的資料便可以閱讀全文
