Wireless LAN<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hong Kong Shue Yan University Library is pleased to offer wireless Internet access to patrons with wireless-enabled devices. Patrons can access the Internet with their notebook computers on G\/F and 2\/F \u2013 6\/F of the Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the details, please refer to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hksyu.idm.oclc.org\/login?url=https:\/\/library.hksyu.edu\/pdf\/wireless.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wireless LAN Area<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pcstations\"><span id=\"B_Workstations\"><strong>B. Workstations<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>83 PC workstations with printing function on 2\/F to 6\/F offer free access to the Internet, online databases and library searching platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Library users can also make use of Microsoft Office to create Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Data analysis and accounting software such as SPSS, DacEasy, MYOB are installed in workstations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The printing guidelines are available next to each photocopying\/printing machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/library.hksyu.edu\/lib\/pcstatus\/facilities_usage.php?pc=WS6B32-33\" target=\"_blank\">iMacs<\/a>\u00a0are available in 3\/F on a first-come-first-served basis.<br>Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat DC, and Dreamweaver) and Microsoft Office are available on the iMacs. And those are connected to the printers in the Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"C_Photocopying_Printing_Scanning\"><strong>C. Photocopying \/ Printing \/ Scanning<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Multi-function printers are located on 2\/F to 6\/F. Notebook Computers &amp; Tablets<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Three notebook computers and five tablets are available for same-day loan to Staff, Postgraduates &amp; Research Assistants and Undergraduates &amp; International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP) Students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users can borrow one notebook or tablet at one time at the G\/F Service Counter.
