These are available for group studying or meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Discussion Rooms at 6\/F DIL601:<\/strong>&nbsp;for groups of&nbsp;<strong>THREE to SIX<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Presentation Room on 5\/F:<\/strong>&nbsp;for groups of&nbsp;<strong>SEVEN to TEN<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Discussion Corner on 3\/F:<\/strong>&nbsp;for groups of&nbsp;<strong>THREE to FOUR<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"Booking_Guidelines\">Booking Guidelines<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The rooms can be booked by students or staff via online\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/library.hksyu.edu\/lib\/subsystem\/mrbs\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\"><u>Room Booking System<\/u><\/a>\u00a0on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/li><li>To book the rooms via online system, users should use the below login method:<br><ul><li><strong>Staff Login:<\/strong>\u00a0Same as Veriguide\/ Webmail\/ Moodle<\/li><li><strong>Student Login:<\/strong>\u00a0Student number and password<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>One user can reserve for 2 sessions <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\">per day<\/span><\/strong>. Each session is 30 minutes.<\/li><li>Users should view the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/library.hksyu.edu\/lib\/subsystem\/mrbs\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u>room booking status<\/u><\/a>\u00a0before reserving a room.<\/li><li>A confirmation email will be sent to the users.<\/li><li>The 3\/F Discussion Corner and 6\/F Discussion Rooms can be booked\u00a0<strong>1 Day<\/strong>\u00a0in advance, and the 5\/F Presentation Room can be booked <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\" class=\"underline\">3 Days<\/span><\/strong> in advance.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"Regulations_of_Using_the_Rooms\">Regulations of Using the Rooms<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Users must observe Library regulations, and keep the room in good order.<\/li><li>Food and drink are not allowed in the rooms.<\/li><li>Users are responsible for any damage of the facilities in the rooms.<\/li><li>The Library is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal items left unattended in the rooms.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"Room_Facilities\">Room Facilities<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The rooms are equipped with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>White boards<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>PC workstations<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Projector (5\/F only)<\/strong><\/li><li>Users can bring in their notebook computers for connection to the University\u2019s network through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hksyu.idm.oclc.org\/login?url=https:\/\/library.hksyu.edu\/pdf\/wireless.htm\">WiFi<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>* only PC workstation in 3\/F Discussion Corner *<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ContentsRegulations of Using Discussion Rooms, Presentation Room, and Discussion Corner Booking GuidelinesRegulations of Using the RoomsRoom Facilities Regulations of Using Discussion Rooms, Presentation Room, and Discussion Corner There are two Discussion Rooms at 6\/F Digital Imaging Lab (DIL601), one Presentation Room on 5\/F, and one Discussion Corner on 3\/F.
