The Series is published by National Library of China starting from 2002 and reproduces around 1,300 categories of books. It has five parts: publications from Tang (唐) and Song Dynasties (宋朝), Jin (金) and Yuan Dynasties (元朝), Ming Dynasty (明朝), Qing Dynasty (清朝), and written documents of the Ethnic Minorities. Each of these five parts is further divided into Classics (jing 經), History (shi 史), Philosophy (zi子), Belles-letters (ji 集) and Collection (cong叢). HKSYU was the second tertiary institute in Hong Kong to own judicial robes donated by a judge. These gowns are now exhibited at the 4/F Law Library. Description An account of the resource <h3>十二生肖姓氏青銅名器</h3> "十二生肖姓氏青銅名器" 紀念文物是中國國家博物館於二千年為了紀念建館八十八周年, 迎接千禧來臨推出的一套具有重大歷史意義的紀念文物, 特點是將國家文物和百家姓溶於一體, 它既是國家一級文物的高仿複製品又是一套當代記載各個姓氏文化淵源的重要責銅文物。 此套生肖姓氏青銅名器為國家限量仿製, 絕版發行, 每姓氏發行二千套, 共選擇全球華人三百個大姓氏, 其中國家博物館永久收藏了各姓氏的第2000號。 展覽地點 : 樹仁大學圖書館 (二樓) <h3>Twelve Chinese Animal Zodiac and Surname Bronze Wares</h3> The Twelve Chinese Animal Zodiac and Surname Bronze Wares are memorial relics launched by the National Museum of China in 2000 to commemorate its 88th Anniversary and welcome the advent of the new millennium. Their characteristics are the mixture of the national relics and Chinese peoples’ surnames. Not only are they high-quality replicas of the First Class National Treasures in limited distribution, but they are also contemporary significant bronze artifacts recording the cultural origins of various surnames. There are 2,000 sets made for each of the 300 Chinese surnames selected globally.
