Under the supervision of the User Services Team, successful candidates will assist in maintaining high-quality library services and supporting various library activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist with shelving, shelf-reading, and bookshelf management to ensure library collections are accurately organized and accessible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support daily user services operations, including service counter duties, handling user enquiries, and conducting library patrols to maintain a comfortable and conducive study environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide administrative and clerical support for the section&#8217;s daily operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in library projects and service initiatives as assigned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the promotion of library services and resources through the creation of publicity materials, including leaflets, posters, videos, and social media content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in organizing and supporting library events and outreach activities, including Library Tours, Information Day, and other promotional programmes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the User Services Team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants should:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be punctual, responsible, and self-disciplined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude and enjoy working in a team environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be able to balance work and academic commitments, and commit at least 10 hours per week, including evenings and Saturdays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess good written and spoken Chinese and English skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have knowledge of graphic design and video editing software.
