This means you can handle all your library needs at one location, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Borrowing regular items<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Getting External Reader Cards<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Collecting Alumni Reader or Borrower Cards<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Picking up interlibrary loans<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Borrowing iPads and laptops<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Checking out Course Reserve materials<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Lost &amp; found services<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, to better align with users&#8217; preferred practices, we are going cashless. The Library will only accept Octopus payments at the counter as we transition to a cashless system. We are also working on introducing additional mobile payment options, which will be available next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Course Reserve Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 23 Dec 2024 (Mon), you can find high-demand course readings in the closed stack Course Reserve on the G\/F. You can borrow these materials for three hours and use them outside the Library. Here\u2019s how to access them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to the \u201cCourse Resources\u201d tab on the Library homepage.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Look for items\u2019 location marked \u201cCourse Reserve G\/F\u201d.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Note down the call number and title of the items you want.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Visit the G\/F Service Counter and provide this information to the staff.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The staff will retrieve the items and check them out for you.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your understanding and continuous support of the Library!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Library is pleased to share the following updates with you.
